Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist will provide professional human resources leadership and expertise while handling the day- to-day operations of the Human Resources office. While working closely with the HR Manager, the HR Generalist will support the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Generalist will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training and development, performance management, policy implementation, onboarding, compensation and benefits management, and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).The successful Generalist will have a high attention to detail, be knowledgeable and have the ability to improve and streamline current processes, allowing for increased efficiency within the department. Flexibility, focus, and the ability to re- prioritize tasks are crucial to the success of this position. The HR Generalist will be a leader that promotes a high- performance, service-oriented culture both within the department and throughout the organization, promoting and setting standards for clear responsibility while demonstrating the highest levels of confidentiality and discretion.

- Assist in developing, reviewing, and evaluating all employee policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience working in a similar role, required
- 2-3 years of ministry/nonprofit experience, preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably with a major in Human Resources
- Experience with reputable payroll vender is preferred
- Knowledge of general accounting processes preferred
- PHR preferred
- Uphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
About East-West
POSITION SUMMARY
East-West is seeking a gifted team player to serve as the Director of Short-Term Mission Teams (STMT). This individual will lead the STMT department to coordinate weeklong teams with our Field Ministries department; develop new STMT opportunities; oversee recruitment, training, and execution of STMTs; and introduce team members to additional opportunities to continue the work of reaching the lost.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Team Leadership: Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the STMT department and STMT logistical team.
- Collaboration: Partner with field missionaries, national partners, and teams to implement STMTs, open new locations, and facilitate training for teammates and new leaders.
- Statistics and Administration: Spearhead metrics and reporting for annual STMTs, establish the department's budget, and ensure adherence to East-West policies and best practices.
- STMT Leadership and Coordination: Lead or coordinate and recruit at least two STMTs each year.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- Experienced in cross-cultural ministry preferred
- Experienced in sharing faith with a clear and concise gospel message
- Ability to travel overseas 4-6 weeks a year
- Demonstrates teaching, leadership, and shepherding skills
- Ability to think strategically and lead others with vision and diplomacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong initiative, self-motivation, and ability to complete tasks on time
- Detail-oriented and precise
- Ability to raise and maintain personal support
