Career Tip of the Day

Jesus

It’s easy to have peace when our situation is stable and calm, or when we find the answer to a question that’s been puzzling us. We feel better because our immediate need has been addressed. But that’s not perfect peace. True peace, perfect peace, is a constant state of being and it’s only possible when we keep our gaze fixed on Jesus. To have our thoughts fixed on Him requires that we have our hearts filled with His Word and our minds made up about where we stand. Until we make a quality decision to trust God completely, we will get distressed and shaken. As soon as we establish our complete trust and our determined focus on Jesus, we’ll experience the promise of perfect peace.

WORDS OF LIFE:

  • I have peace because I keep my mind on Christ.
  • My trust is in the Lord and I will not be moved.
  • By faith I receive an awareness of God’s Spirit within me and I am calm.

Word of the Day

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! (NLT)
