Thanks
If God never did another thing for us, wouldn’t we still be blessed? There are more than a hundred promises that come with our inheritance in Christ. We have life, health, opportunities, and the ability to think and to perform. We have love, eternal life, forgiveness from sin, hope, and the promises in God’s Word. We have The Blessing of Abraham — an eternal covenant of God’s love — and faith to receive it. We are seated in Christ at the right hand of God. All of the authority and power of God has been given to us, in the name of Jesus. We live in the light while the rest of the world suffers darkness. Doesn’t all this merit our thanks and praise? Before you head out today, stop and give thanks, remembering that Jesus paid with His life to give you this inheritance.
