Battle
Did it ever occur to you that your life and livelihood would depend on being spiritually "suited up” for battle every day of your life? But now you know, becauseyou've probably experienced what happens when you go out without God’s armor to protect you, and have the scars to prove it. Your effectiveness and success will require every piece of this spiritual armor — God’s truth to fill you, His salvation to deliver you, Christ’s righteousness to empower you, your faith to guard you, and His Word and Spirit to mount your defense. Once you recognize that the battle is real and the stakes are high, you’ll begin to understand the need for this armor and the great value it holds. Thank God He has it all laid out for you — and in your size, too!
