Do you wonder why God didn’t protect you from this experience of unemployment? It could be because He doesn’t think you’re “jobless.” In God’s mind, you work for Him. After all, He is your provider and He has plans for you to accomplish. He doesn’t need a payroll department to meet your needs either. Now is the time to discover just how wonderful, powerful and awesome He is. He never takes His eyes off you and He won’t let you stumble. He never sleeps. He never takes a break from caring for you. Do you really know the God that you belong to? Make time to get to know Him — allow the opportunity for just the two of you to get together and talk.
