Job Opportunity: Direct Support Professional – DSP – Group Employment with ARC Industries, Inc. in Columbus, OH
Are you a Direct Support Professional who enjoys working with participants with intellectual or developmental disabilities to live their life to the fullest and engage in their community? Are you looking for a supportive, caring team to work and grow with? If so, this is the opportunity for you!
Schedule: Monday through Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm (paid lunch), Great work/life balance!
$18.00 an hour! Plus, $1.50 Shift Differential!
As a DSP, you are expected to demonstrate a desire to create lasting positive impacts on people's lives and enjoy coaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to celebrate their achieved outcomes.
Group Employment Essential Job Functions
- Teach skills for job readiness, social, educational, community and daily living
- Provide assistance to each individual based on their Person-Centered ISP
- Perform cleaning duties with participants

Requirement
To be a Direct Support Professional, you must be:
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in related field preferred, but not required
- Able to work independently and exercise problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift, bend, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
