Job Opportunity: Electro-Mechanical Assembler with Gunnebo in Duncan, SC

As the Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you are responsible for operating a 30-foot assembly line including placing pallets on a manual lift table, moving them down the line, and completing part assembly accurately and efficiently. You will report directly to the Plant Manager. Other responsibilities include:

  • Electro-mechanical assembly and pre-assembly of small and medium-sized components.
  • Wiring harness and connection of electronic components.
  • Testing of the semi-finished product and the finished product.
  • Aesthetic control of the components before and after assembly.
  • Ability to troubleshoot when something does not work.
  • Minor Soldering could be required.
  • Maintenance of workstations and assembly stations.

Requirement

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate flexibility and the capability to collaborate withing multicultural teams. Other requirements include:

  • 2-5 years’ experience with Mechanical Assembly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot as required.
  • Ability to read blueprints to assemble.
  • Experience in a job-shop assembly environment is a plus.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency and dexterity to adapt to working with manual and power tools is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality.
