Position Overview
The Business Operations Coordinator role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the business office to ensure efficiency and organization across all administrative functions. This position plays a key part in maintaining a productive and positive work environment by supporting various accounting, finance, and HR functions with essential administrative tasks. The role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities to keep the office running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect, reconcile, and accurately record credit card settlements related to donations, ticket sales, and merchandise sales (books/DVDs).
• Oversee recruitment workflows and applicant tracking systems to ensure efficient candidate sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding processes.
• Maintain organized filing systems (physical and digital), ensuring accurate document storage, classification, and compliance with records retention policies throughout the entire lifecycle—from initial storage to final destruction.
• Prepare and submit recurring state sales tax payments in compliance with regulatory deadlines
• Support inventory valuation for educational and related materials, and assist with semi-annual royalty payment calculations and disbursements
• Ensure the building remains clean, maintained, and securely closed each evening, coordinating as needed with the facilities management team to address maintenance and security concerns.
• Manage office supplies inventory and place orders, as needed
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Serve as back up receptionist
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirement
Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Demonstrative knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Accounts Receivable best practices
• Familiarity HR procedures, a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Exhibits critical thinking skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Flexibility and adaptability in a growing ministry environment
• Professional demeanor that fosters positive working relationships, is not easily offended and proactively pursues solutions
Job Requirements
• Agreement with ICR’s core principles and mission.
• A written testimony of salvation and faith in Jesus Christ.
• Physically capable of safely lifting up to 25 pounds.
