Career Opportunity – Maintenance Technician – ES Properties in Cincinnati, OH

 

Do you have experience with preventative maintenance? Do you have general repair knowledge and residential maintenance experience? If yes, we want to speak to you about our position! 

 

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for effectively maintaining equipment, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth operations of our properties. You will also be responsible for the general maintenance and repairs of our 500 scattered sites.

Responsibilities:

• Proactive and detail-oriented individual who can handle a variety of maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure our properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained for our residents.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including inspecting, cleaning, and possibly repairing small appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, doors, locks, windows, and other duties as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks and projects and to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents by addressing their concerns and maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain a safe working environment, and adhere to the Fair Housing Act.

Requirement

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with tenants and management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Availability for on-call emergency maintenance, as needed.
• Driver's License (Required).
