Internal Communications Specialist

Description

The Internal Communications Specialist is integral to East-West and the People Advancement department, and is responsible for defining and driving East-West’s internal communication strategy. This role transcends traditional communication, focusing on producing high-quality materials with the ultimate goal of fostering a deeper sense of understanding and engagement across the organization. The specialist will seek to shape a vibrant internal culture where our team is knowledgeable (engaged, informed, and aligned), valued, and inspired, directly contributing to a unified and empowered global workforce, essential for advancing East-West's mission to reach the unreached.

Requirement

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or a closely related field
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a similar communication-focused role
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing internal communication strategies that drive employee engagement and information dissemination
• Proven track record of crafting high-quality written content for various internal channels (e.g., emails, intranet, newsletters, presentations)
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership
• Proficiency with internal communication platforms and tools (e.g., email marketing software, intranet content management systems, presentation software)
• Uphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
