Nothing will bring a job seeker down faster or harder than thinking about the wrong things. Turn on a news story about unemployment rates and bam, the wind will go completely out of your sails! What does that tell you? Simply that you need to guard your thoughts. Unemployment rates do not concern you; negative reports do not apply to you. “You have been raised to a new life in Christ.” No matter what is going on in the world, you are safe in the Kingdom of God. Fill your mind with His truth and your heart with His love. Don’t let anything else in.
