Career Tip of the Day

Self
Many of us have a problem with how God responds to our needs at times. We always want immediate, total healing but most of the time we get better slowly, day by day. It can be the same with growth and change. We want God to fix us and get it over with. Instead, He changes us so slowly that sometimes we aren’t even aware of it. We would never choose unemployment as a pathway to prosperity or blessing. Yet we have to admit that God has a habit of doing some unusual things with people. Naaman was enraged at what he was told to do, and yet it healed him of leprosy. Wasn’t his restoration worth what he went through? So let God have His way with you now. After all, what wouldn’t you do for abundant life?
WORDS OF LIFE:
- I turn my job search over to God and expect great results.
- By faith I receive blessing and great good from this time of unemployment.
- I know God wants only good for me and I trust the way He leads me.
Word of the Day
But Naaman became angry and stalked away. “I thought he would certainly come out to meet me!” he said. “I expected him to wave his hand over the leprosy and call on the name of the LORD his God and heal me! Aren’t the rivers of Damascus, the Abana and the Pharpar, better than any of the rivers of Israel? Why shouldn’t I wash in them and be healed?”
